Girls Night Out- My 1st night out as a new mom

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a good weekend! I had my very first night out with the girls since Emersyn was born! It’s been long overdue since she’s turning 1 this Thursday but I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding this whole year so it makes it impossible for anyone else to feed her and get her to bed but me. But Dad has been learning how to get her back to sleep if she wakes up so we felt comfortable for me to be out after she went to bed. And wouldn’t you know the entire time I was gone she didn’t wake up ONCE?! Lucky daddy.

Besides being out with the girls (duh) I REALLY miss dressing up for a night out. I love makeup, I love heels, I love fun quirky fashion. I mean I still do some of that stuff when out with the hubs but he’s honestly not a huge fan of my heels or anything like that. Really I think I could wear a bag and he’d be happy lol! So it was fun to express myself and feel a little bit like the old me.

Lipstick: (affiliate link) I first put on the Nyx and then I put this Maybelline lipstick on top

Here’s my outfit:

I totally should have taken better pics of ME actually wearing it BUT you get the idea.

Jeans: I LOVE these ripped up jeans and they came from Charlotte Russe….brand: Refuge

*Ripped jeans when cold out is not always ideal so I like to throw tights on under them for some fun. Mine were from Express

Shirt: Girls…this is actually a Jessica Simpson Nursing shirt from Motherhood Maternity.

Boots: I got the boots for $10.99 from Cato Fashions

Necklace and Belt: Cato Fashions….Under $10 each (couldn’t find on the website BUT they are from the store in St. Joseph)

Watch:(affiliate link) this is the one thing I’m wearing that wasn’t super cheap but I LOVE it! I’m SUPER in love with rose gold right now!

I just started finally pairing black with brown/tan together. Add in the gold/rose gold and I absolutely love the combination. It’s also the first time I’ve worn a choker necklace since (hello college when they used to be popular) but I LOVE this pink one I got from Cato.

Totally all affordable for a fun comfortable outfit!

XO,

Lesley

You guys! Sorry I’m having trouble with stuff not showing up on emails but showing up on my end so I’m trying to figure this out. I think I got it fixed, I was told my outfit pic wasn’t showing so it should now. Thanks for being patient with me, I’m still trying to learn as I go!
