Hide yo kids, hide yo wife…wait…jk…hide yo cords!!
The problem: Got ugly cords??? Ugh I hate cords! Not only are they ugly but I have an almost 1 yr old on the loose so cords are no bueño.

I recently showed you all our new area now that we took down the TV from the fireplace and mounted it on the wall. I painted an old sofa table for our TV stand and we love it! If you missed that, click here to check it out! But oh the ugly cord problem! So I quickly went to work trying to find a solution. There are several ideas from zip tying to installing different plug ins but I certainly didn’t want to drill into our brand new home’s walls (the thought makes me cringe!) We also didn’t want to spend a bunch of money. If you read any of my posts you know I’m always trying to find ways to cut cost! (Besides, less money on these things = more money for something fun….ok ok Target probably) My husband ultimately made the decision on what to use and I admit i was a little leery of how it was gonna look. I forgot to take a before pic but just imagine a bunch of ugly black cords hanging down…
The solution: CORDMATE III
The trick: You gotta paint your strip your wall color so it blends in! Overall I’m pretty happy with how it looks! No drilling holes into the wall and NO CORDS!!! Hubby had it done in like 15 mins. Like my baskets? You can get them here!
No go hide those cords people!! (But not your wife or kids)
