I LOVE french toast, I have been making it since I was young. It’s super easy and my husband loves it. Last weekend I decided to make french toast for his birthday that morning but I wanted to actually use a recipe and do something a little different. I found this recipe on Pinterest (duh). It was a success…the lemon zest in this recipe is what really makes it so don’t skip it! I also used fresh sourdough bread for the first time which was a great choice. The type of bread you choose when making french toast really makes a difference! I hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as we did! This weekend I will be attempting my first homemade cinnamon rolls so cross your fingers for me!
